Taken by Tides at The Nile
Taken By Tides brought the house down at The Nile Underground in Mesa with a performance that was equal parts electrifying and emotionally raw. From the moment they hit the stage, the energy in the room shifted—walls shook, fans screamed lyrics with their whole chest, and the band fed off every second of it.

Their setlist was a rollercoaster of melody and aggression, seamlessly blending post-hardcore grit with catchy, heartfelt choruses. The chemistry between the band members was undeniable, and frontman Omar’s vocals cut through the chaos with clarity and passion, making even the heaviest moments feel deeply personal.

Before the chaos unfolded on stage, we had the chance to sit down with the band for an interview. While you might expect tales of tour antics and broken guitars (which they have plenty of), what stood out most was their soft side. The guys opened up about their love for plushies and vintage Gameboys—yes, those childhood staples. It’s a refreshing contrast that adds depth to the band’s image: heavy music, soft hearts.

Taken By Tides isn’t just a band making noise—they’re creating connections. If you haven’t seen them live yet, don’t sleep on it. Their next show might just be your new favorite night.
