Chaos and Carnage Reign at the Wiltern

Last month, the Wiltern descended into darkness as the Chaos and Carnage tour rolled into town. Co-headlined by the brutal Dying Fetus and Cradle of Filth (gallery), the night also unleashed explosive performances from Fleshgod Apocalypse (gallery) and Ne Obliviscaris (gallery). More than just a concert, it felt like a full-blown celebration of death metal—an unrelenting barrage of energy, rage, and ear-seducing screeches that kept the crowd locked in from start to finish. The venue was awash in horns, black, and a sea of tour tees—worn by everyone from headbanging toddlers to seasoned metal veterans—proving once again that Los Angeles remains fiercely loyal to deathly amounts of chaos and carnage.
